The challenge was to replace aging delivery trucks fueled by conventional diesel with a sustainable, readily available alternative energy. The answer was propane autogas powered step vans and an on-site refueling station.

The vehicle platform that met the company’s criteria offers the identical horsepower, torque and towing capacity as its gasoline counterparts. It came with the necessary service and support and with fuel systems that can be maintained using standard diagnostic equipment at a network of service centers across the country. And it’s backed by an OEM factory warranty.

Summing it up, this fleet says that propane autogas is the right thing to do for its operation, it is better for the environment, it is good for the economy, and it reduces our dependency on foreign oil.
